Visiting my youngest son in Dallas. This is building they used in the opening scenes of the TV show Dallas to represent Ewing Oil.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out.

On hold with a domestic airline (shall remain unnamed to preserve the thread but something about ducks and united) to get a specific response that their weasel-worded web site dances around.  But if you believe good ol' auto attendant, between him and the site I should be just fine.  I hate this friggin drill.  BTW- due to scheduling issues I am forced to work with this airline which I haven't flown on in better than two decades.  F'd for sure!
Land line and a speaker phone, I am free to move about the cocktail area w/o a battery drain.  Sometimes the old tech is a true aid.  FWIW-
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

@Eoin - To those who ventured to the NY Yankees-Boston Red Sox baseball  game in London that started around 5 hours ago, they are getting more than their fill of Yank baseball.  Scoring is like American football and the duration is well out there.  27 outs/team and who knows when it will end.
But given your indulgence of cricket it may be acceptable.  And they do it again Sunday.  B)

I saw that was happening over here, but I have no idea at all about baseball.

Real cricket matches last 5 days. The current world cup is based on 1 day matches, we were favourites but have been poor. The big one is the Ashes later in the summer. A 5 match series against the Aussies. It's the big one for us England cricket fans.

Are those windows or skylights in the top of the quonset hut? If windows that has to help a lot!

@lousubcap I trimmed down a whole flat to fit on my small. The rub was a combo of stuff, I think the salt and some moisture with no peeking brings that ring out.

Cleaning out the XL. She's seen lots of L&S lately and with all the rain it had a little mold. I'll fix it 🔥

@Battleborn I was on a ride along with my best friend years ago. We stopped this crackhead. When my buddy found a pipe and some rocks on him, he proclaimed “These aren’t my pants!”  B)

Made a beef tenderloin tonight. Used the Hasty Bake, because it really works well for searing first and I did the APL recipe.

    Well that looks just excellent!
