These have always been good. It’s not pizza but it has a pizza flavor.

Made these tonight to go with our Cinco de Mayo Nachos for the kids and an enchilada casserole for the adults. Made the boats with Neese’s hot sausage mixed in with Rao’s marinara and topped with motz, parm and pepperoni. They will be made again. Ignore them still being on the jelly pan- they were better than the picture looks.

Cut in half and spoon scoop the guts out. Grill scooped halves direct about 400*. Remove and fill. Grill raised direct to bubbly. That’s what worked for me.

Yup, stole this idea! Made a batch last night as a test run for a cook we are hosting on Memorial Day. Ynette really likes these! We might tweak the 'recipe' a bit. We used chicken apple sausage and pepperoni, but might go for a more robust sausage next time. My question is that I want to serve these as appetizers, but I am not sure how to serve them. They are a bit messy to pick up as finger food (proof being Ynette's tee shirt!). Maybe pull them off and cut in half, or in bite size peices? I am open to suggestions.XL BGE in San Jose, CA. You could use a melon ball scooper and do smaller enclosed sections that could be sliced into bite sized amountsGreensboro, NC

It's on the menu for this evening. The Dude: This is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.Walter Sobchak: Nihilists! *uck me. Thanks for posting, tried these last night and everyone loved them. I was a big hero, especially with the wife because it was "my idea" and I did all the prep and cooking on a Monday night.
