I raised both my kids on our last boat. We stayed out there 2-3 nights a week and it was 3 miles from our house. This one is not as big but it’s perfect now that the kids are gone
@doubleegger it’s a Sea Ray Sundancer 270 express cruiser. We live out by a large lake. We have had plenty of small boats over the years but those days are over for me on this lake. Too busy and not fun if you are out on a weekend. You get beat to a pulp out there unless you go hide out in a cove somewhere. This one is older but it’s in cherry shape. Should be a fun summer.

Just the thought of ^^ this ^^ caused me stress. Captive nagging, a deep lake, a heavy anchor... it's probably good I didn't have a boat when I was married.

bought 45 dollars worth of seals this week for the 6 hp kicker motor, boat goes in when the snow pile gets small enough, maybe 2 weeks or so. i wont work on it til december. ive had my boat for coming up on 30 years, no desire to buy another. still has the origional 115 merc on the back, i say a prayer for it every year, seems to keep going somehow. if i were to guess....15,000 hours on the merc plus/minus. adding a kicker a few years ago was a game changer, 2 to 3 gallons gas per weekend depending on the season

For the record, the tables were purchase off of CL from someone who salvaged them from a lab. They are adjustable height, and I modified them to go even higher. We then had custom cutting boards for the tops. The perfect workstation for the taller gentlemen (or Brie of Tar)
