Got another Turkey on the large BGE running at about 200F for overnight. Took a long time to get it stabilized at that temp, but I was tweaking it for the experimental cook throughout the day.Cleaned up the kitchen.I'm gonna fire up the pellet smoker in the morning and put on a 22 pound turkey, 7 pound breast.Pro-tip on dirty martinis.... Will post the secret later. (sigh) ok, well it's anchovy stuffed olive juice. I have pics will post in the morning or whatever. Nite. Speaking of cash, when dealing with small-time contractors, I will ask for a quote on a job. Once that's in hand, I'll ask what would it be in all cash. With wives doing the books oftentimes, dudes need a way to squirrel some away for other, ummm, hobbies. Usually gets me at least 10% off.Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here. Very Extremely Stable Genius.

Anne has no interest in doing the books, she just cares that the cards keep working. On the plus side, she has no idea what I spend.JethroVA said:Speaking of cash, when dealing with small-time contractors, I will ask for a quote on a job. Just returned from a spirited drive on a few country roads. Very little traffic and no LEO (the law kind) out there. Cleaned out the carbon.Happy Thanksgiving.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

Nice! I haven’t heard the carbon reference in a while. My Dad used to used to say that to my Mom when he’d mash the pedal in our ‘70s Malibu wagon and she’d protest.lousubcap said:Just returned from a spirited drive on a few country roads.
