Newbie vs. Regular? I joined three years ago and I peruse the forum every day, but I don't post much. I'm not so much into labels.

We are doing some racks of lamb. Ynette doesn't like too much fat as that is where the gaminess seems to be. I love gaminess. Having been a hunter when younger I learned to love wild game, especially wild boar. Now I buy my wild boar at a butcher shop.
XL BGE in San Jose, CA. Also a Pit Barrel Cooker, a Cal Flame P4 gasser, and lots of toys including the first ever Flame Boss 300 in the wild. And a new Flame Boss 500.

@bucky925 , if you can get the bacon to not fall apart, thin (regular) bacon is the way to go on the pineapple bacon shrimp. Thick bacon overwhelms the other tastes and the shrimp gets way overcooked before the bacon is done. A VERY clean grill and some Pam are your friend to keep the bacon from sticking. And don't even try to turn them.
