In fact much easier to pull off around midnight, when there’s nobody on the road.
Around here there some nice sweeping curves and good straights but a lot of critters free ranging especially in the dark.  Early Sunday AM works for me but whatever you can get away with is all that matters.

Just returned from the every eight week blood letting for the Red Cross.  Running a pint low so the adult beverages should have a little extra juice.
Now to get some serious yard work done while between rains storms.

Pretty standard weekend cook. 9# Butt. Brined in salt & brown sugar. Injected with a cup of cider and a cup broth mixed. Yellow mustard and MC Honey Hog. Put on at 0900 at the felt line at 275 dome over Rockwood and oak with the same as injected in the drip pan. I checked at 1700, IT was 203. FTC while I get the rest around.

Just discover a crack in the base of my large. The ring and firebox are already cracked. Guess it's time for that fancy warranty to kick in.  B)
