I’d be happy with 6% of the time. I’ve quit trying and just cut it open.
Here’s how to do it 100% of the time. Place the bag so that the back side of the stitching is away from you. Find the knotted end on the right side. Take your thumb and pointer finger and grab the knotted area and pull straight out from the bag. Do that 2-3 times and the knot will loosen up and you’ll see the string to pull that opens the bag.
That just worked for me when I started on the left side.  Rockwood bag.

Ain't nobody got time for that.

Naaahh. Seriously, while you're still undoing the knot I'll have the knife out of my pocket and the bag sliced open.

Now if I don't already have the knife in my pocket and have to go find it you win.

I'm stuck on a plane. 45 minutes after we should have left, still parked at the gate. This is all due to someone incorrectly writing up that one of the outlets in the cockpit was deactivated. It was actually damaged. They don't need the outlet to be working, but the documentation has to match the condition of the plane. How difficult is it to update documentation? Apparently, very. Managers have been called we are told.

@DMW - good luck with the anal responses you will receive as this gets resolved in the far -term.  No one will apply common sense and no one will make a decision.

Finally, an hour late, we are taxiing away from the gate. And there are "only" four planes ahead of us on the runway... If I operated with standards like this, I think I'd be out of a job.

    Nope.  Mustard only.

@JohnInCarolina - Great outcomes right there.  I'm guessing you are running with the hi-speed gas option right now?

Yes.   I’ll try wood at some point, but for now as I’m learning how to use the RB, gas is the way to go.

Is a corn dog a sandwich?

If served semi-frozen is it then like one of those strange (to Western palates) Japanese popsicles?

If it is like a Japanese dessert, then I assume squeezing Kewpie on it is ok right?

  • @dmw similar situation twice last month.  Once they were trying to decide if the plane we were already on could land at John Wayne.  WTF?  Shouldn't that be a prerequisite to boarding?  They make the same flight everyday.

Watching my favorite movie- Pulp Fiction, enjoying brown water, heading for LEO and pausing the flick several times to mess around on the forum.  Gonna be a great escape velocity trip in a couple of hours...  Landing TBD.
