Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

Just finished a painful call with an Apple senior (?) tech who got my issue once one of his staff got to the end of his script. For some not simply solvable reason, my email decided to quit sending (at some point today) but still receives incoming. No settings changed etc. Did all the simple stuff including delete and reload the account, no joy. Sent a bunch of data to their engineers and will see where this goes.

Just ordered some EBC Yellowstuff brake pads for the car. Wear light has been on a few weeks. These will probably be noisy, but are track quality with zero fade and good cold performance. Probably need to give the heads up to the brisket camp lawyer for potential rear-end accidents.
Also, because I've been drinking I suppose, ordered the small RTIC duffel (liked the med and large) and the 30 can soft cooler, plus a couple 10oz cups for whiskey.

No such thing as zero fade. EBC get mixed reviews, I used Pagid on the Lotus with a big brake kit and still got fade on track. The cold performance was more of a disclaimer than anything else, first push on a cold morning would be a bit slow to react, it's just a matter of making a stop before reaching the first junction. After that OK. Noise is a big issue with racing pads, dependent on the type. We all think that we can live with a bit of brake noise, but when they actually scream at full volume at low speed in traffic, it gets a bit wearing / embarassing. Cera Tec is the best thing for reassembly. Never tried carbon brakes but they are supposed to be all day fade free - would be great on a track day car, even if a bit of a budget breaker.nolaegghead said:Just ordered some EBC Yellowstuff brake pads for the car.
