Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks to everyone who called, texted and pm'd to see how I made out during the storm. It really means a lot when hundreds of people that you have never even met take the time to check in on you.
Several that I have met checked in as well. But the number of total strangers (except from talking on the forum) was shocking. From coast to coast and even from over seas I received calls and texts checking in.
In all seriousness, thank you all for your kindness and concern. Y'all are simply the best. Hope that everyone along the coast made out as well as I did.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Agree. Everyone around me got hammered. The wind didn't even move the leaves in my yard.

Never to personal to inquire about ones anus. And to be honest, I'm glad that you asked. The ole anus is still sitting pretty, just "this side" of Biloxi, MS.  =)

Honestly, I think lots of people secretly enjoy your anus posts and were worried those might have stopped.  No way a hurricane hurts you.

To be perfectly honest, I have always thought this to be the case. Anus, to some degree is a taboo subject for some. It has been my goal to remove this taboo or stigma if you will.
On a serious note, of all the questions I get via text, phone call or PM, anus is in the top three. So the curiosity is definitely there.

Now I feel bad for not asking.  But to be honest I didn't even realize there was a storm in your neighbourhood. I would have to watch the news. What channel is CNN again?

Thanks for the call Scottie!! My family fared pretty well. We loaded up the RV with our important pics, contracts, and most importantly our 2 baby girls and headed to Lafayette, LA and had smash burgers and hot dogs and played on the playground. It didn't even rain there. Headed back the next morning to no power but everything still cold in the fridge/freezer. Power was back in less than an hour from reporting it.

In other words. We all good!!

Best thing that can happen to have a reliable infrastructure is the occasional tropical storm/hurricane.   That lets you fix the weak infrastructure a little at a time.   Look at this event as part of a long-term improvement.

This is analogous to the severity of forest fires being mitigated by having occasional forest fires.
