@MJG, that's the right approach.  At the time of the actual move in, do the heavy lifting then find a place to relax.  I did that last week. 

I've been blessed that my daughter and I are close. I will miss her but am excited for this next chapter. It will be an adjustment for sure. 

Bid adieu to the very adept gentleman that pressure washed our house today. Did a fantastic job. He was supposed to come tomorrow, but worked us in today. I had planned on cranking up the egg at 3:00 and putting the beef ribs on. He didn't finish until 4:30, so that plan was out. Just finished throwing the remainder of a  disgusting Papa John's pizza in the garbage. One slice for me, 1 1/2 slices for hubby. Note to self: no more pizza delivery. EVER.

I feel the same way. Kinda like eating a Big Mac compared to a nice home cooked Burger. 

In my defense, it's been like a revolving door here all weekend and after the beef ribs plan fell through, I just didn't feel like cooking. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich would have been a lot better, but I knew that wouldn't pair well with a Jack Daniels on the rocks.

The only pizza I'll routinely get from Dominos is their thin crust with anchovies, mushrooms, and onions. I like it and do that a few times a year.

Never had a Papa Johns. Really not inclined to try either.

Had some leftover hot dog buns from the family reunion in Hillsdale.  Split them open and used one bun for each slice, thin layer of Duke's, and toasted, salt and vinegar Pringles hahaha....

The mater, with s and p, was driving this bus.....bacon riding shotgun.

At first glance I thought I was seeing ice cream cones with bacon. Alas, it is a hot dog bun.

However, now I do want to make some bacon filled ice cream cones. Mix up some aerated cream cheese and herbs and crumbled bacon. I'm sure that's a thing.
