Week off. Dropping our oldest at college for the first time on Wednesday morning...so a bunch of activity in the house with all the women folk. Trying to put a dent in the local Tito's supply and stay out of trouble.
@MJG, that's the right approach.  At the time of the actual move in, do the heavy lifting then find a place to relax.  I did that last week.
I've been blessed that my daughter and I are close. I will miss her but am excited for this next chapter. It will be an adjustment for sure.

Bid adieu to the very adept gentleman that pressure washed our house today. Did a fantastic job. He was supposed to come tomorrow, but worked us in today. I had planned on cranking up the egg at 3:00 and putting the beef ribs on. He didn't finish until 4:30, so that plan was out. Just finished throwing the remainder of a  disgusting Papa John's pizza in the garbage. One slice for me, 1 1/2 slices for hubby. Note to self: no more pizza delivery. EVER.

I feel the same way. Kinda like eating a Big Mac compared to a nice home cooked Burger.

Papa John's and Dominos barely qualify as food, much less pizza.  I will only eat their pizza if the three criteria below are met.

    1.  It's free
    2.  Life or Death starvation
    3.  Anchovies

In my defense, it's been like a revolving door here all weekend and after the beef ribs plan fell through, I just didn't feel like cooking. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich would have been a lot better, but I knew that wouldn't pair well with a Jack Daniels on the rocks. =)

Dominos thin crust square cut  (not that hand tossed crap) with pepperoni is the best pizza from those crappy chains. That's like being the tallest midget though. Everything else at Dominos, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, etc is pretty nasty.

The only pizza I'll routinely get from Dominos is their thin crust with anchovies, mushrooms, and onions. I like it and do that a few times a year.

Never had a Papa Johns. Really not inclined to try either.

Had some leftover hot dog buns from the family reunion in Hillsdale.  Split them open and used one bun for each slice, thin layer of Duke's, and toasted, salt and vinegar Pringles hahaha....

The mater, with s and p, was driving this bus.....bacon riding shotgun.

At first glance I thought I was seeing ice cream cones with bacon. Alas, it is a hot dog bun.

However, now I do want to make some bacon filled ice cream cones. Mix up some aerated cream cheese and herbs and crumbled bacon. I'm sure that's a thing.

@DoubleEgger - if you want to really get a show, plus up the payment to reduce the change and round up the dollars.  Challenged to find the keys to execute the transaction.

So true! But you have to do it after they total out the register, or else you only get the:

Tiafoe vs. Feder is one of the best first round US Open matches I've seen in a loooong time.
