If my knee gets better, and I get more training time in, we are going in August. We plan on also catching Joe Bonamassa at Red Rocks as well. We are renting a house in Lyons, where they have music festivals year round.
We stayed in Estes Park last the year, that image was from the deck, early morning. The rock face (shaped like a diamond) changes color through the day, due to the angle in the sun. Go in October, you will here the Elk Bugle during mating season, coyotes will follow with their yelps, and Timberwolves follows with their howls, all under an amazing Milky Way filled evening sky.

I ran into this show called Hot One's on YouTube. It's currently one of my favorites. The host Sean Evans interviews celebrities while eating hot wings. They start off with easy hot sauces and work their way up too extreme heat with each question. Just throwing it up as maybe a couple other people here might enjoy it. Here's an episode with Charlie Day from It's Always Sunny:

Just finished giving a partial bath to a chicken.

    Yep

She was broody and was setting on 8 eggs, one of which was crushed earlier today so her breast feathers were a sticky mess and had a bunch of straw stuck to her as well.

Queue the "as long as you were not choking your chicken jokes" or a million other jokes you could come up with from what I said above.
    Or don't.
