Meat is so cheap in the USA, I'm jealous.

Love the brand, 'certified angus beef' is not a statement of fact, it's a brand. My knowledge of brisket is limited, so I've no idea if a 19 lb packer is big or small, but it does seem big and actual angus steer is a relatively small beast compared to big stuff like Charolais or Limousin.

I think my head just exploded. Have never paid attention to what their labels say above the price and weight, so just read it now.

I like how they give detailed instructions... That are sh!t from the get go.

@caliking -  almost reads like they consulted with @travisstrick  and modified a bit to avoid any legal issues.  ;)
Hard to believe a Texas store would even think instructions were needed.  Guess it's the "new normal."

I thought you scored a rice cooker.  Guess a packer will do too.

Meat really is cheap in Texas but to get those prices you'd have to actually live in Texas.

    Not really a win-win. :)

I also saw the H.E.B. sale briskets, but when I searched for some indication of its grade, I found nothing on the package.  The butcher said it was 'Select' grade. They had a few 'Choice' and even some 'Prime' grade briskets at decent prices but they really didn't look all that good.  So I passed on all of them. Their "Choice" trimmed briskets probably looked the best at our store.
