Yeah. That was the best possible place. The windshield would have been catastrophic and the sheet metal would be a bigger pain to repair. She was on 575 near Canton.Lit said:

My Beautiful Wife is amazing, dealing with everything in the last 4 months, losing both her mother and brother. I don't know how she does it.
I will be doing the eulogy, and as his love was the sea, he will be buried there.
He was a chef, a tug boat Captain, and loved New Orleans. He was my closest friend. He was very kind to me, at a time I was not worthy. I married his sister after dang near stalking her, for 4 years. He welcomed me as his brother. I can never thank him enough.
My life has been better knowing him.
Please keep Suzy in your thoughts the next couple of days.
