I know have 60 lbs of SRF. Perhaps a few can be set aside for grinding...bgebrent said:
Dwayne, you should try it. Maybe not with the SRF's but with primes. Seriously my friend. Best burgers ever.DMW said:Lit said:
Really, you are going to grind up a SRF brisket? Mine just arrived tonight, and I held them lovingly and assured them they would both be smoked until they were ready. The grinder will not get them.
Anyhow, those will be some really good burgers, enjoy. -
How was the soft shell blue crab season? Miss that part of living there.Eggcelsior said:

Good times! Love hitting a restaurant with a soft crab sandwich on the menu. If you ever find yourself in the area during season, make time to go to Woodberry Kitchen. Their's is something else.bgebrent said:

Feeling festive. Just placed a couple of Christmas light projectors out in the front and had slow cooked pinto beans and fried pork chops. House smelled great when I got home from work.

People are encouraged to post fails right?? I haven't had one in a while. This was ok......(taste was great but presentation from the sear was lacking.)
had an idea for pork loin, cook the thing until the ends were done and slice those thin for sandwiches, and the middle more rare part slice thick for a reverse sear chops. The middle was 140 when I pulled and cut, brushed olive oil and a little seasoning
i had the egg at 610 but as you can see the sear wasn't great.
Next time will pull sooner so I can sear longer“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

Pat dry the slices before searing. Wet meat doesn't sear, it steams until dry, only then the sear starts.

@DMW - Wherever your night-life takes you -no spitting gum and don't jay-walk.
If your first go-round then a big tourist attraction is Raffles Hotel to quote: " most well-loved include the fine dining establishment Raffles Grill; Long Bar, where the famous Singapore Sling was created." Enjoy as I am sure you will.
Edit: Safe travels.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Yeah I don't know - maybe I should invest in CI pan.DMW said:“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

Watching this JV game between Washington and Colorado. Neither deserve to be in the playoff.
