    I would go with the quantity of Jack inhaled but that is too hard to quantify as the pace sets the stage.  Anyhow, all in good fun  ;)

    A question for you baseball diehards. Did they change the strike zone for this World Series? Some of the strikes called looks off by miles to me. Maybe it's just me though.

    16Ks in 6.5 is a lot of strikeouts in a WS.
    yeah, should've said more aggressive swinging.  I guess now that I think about that, I'm totally wrong, tight zone makes pitchers come in for more hits.  or maybe that's not it either.  hell, what do I know.  big or small zone, inconsistency is the worst.  I hope it's a good game, but that's a lot of strike outs.  Are they swinging or watching to strike out?

    I was a little anxious to play around with the new toy, so after eating a regular dinner I've got a few mushroom soup burgers cooking.  Yeah, I know, using a probe for burgers...

    Fwiw, I'm liking this thing, in case anyone is on the fence.  Probe wires seem short - not an issue for me, but you may want to check specs if ordering one.

    I do wish the cables were 6 foot rather than just 4 foot. They're long enough but I would like to have a bit more flexibility on where I can sit the main unit.

    You have a checkbook?  Am I in the minority here?  I don't have one and haven't for at least 10 years.  When I absolutely need to write a check, I have to go to the bank so they can print me a blank check from my account.

    I am very excited to start burning wood here in Michigan.  It is almost time.  

    Is your stove going in the basement you are remodeling or on the main floor?

    Still have a check book.  Some companies and local gubmints charge an extra fee for on-line processing that I refuse to pay.  And let's not forget the friggin IRS in April.  With free checking and free checks it's just too easy.  FWIW-

    @Sea2Ski I wound up ordering the Eco choice 22.. It's made by quadrafire and supposedly better for lower ceilings. 
    Should hopefully arrive next week! Thursday to be exact

    I'd never use a check for a sizable purchase. Credit cards  provide useful consumer protection if a vendor proves problematic and cash back makes that a no-brainer.

    I still use my checkbook tho - once a year for the IRS.

    No issues with SWMBO here-been running in parallel universes for many years.  May expand the degree of parallel in the next few months.  Vaseline may become a "Buy" down the road.
