    I'm thinking of getting a 75-100lb hog and trying to find a waygu or at least CAB Prime clod. @sgh would probably come tend fire with me

    Grim isn't there a boat launch just north of Lickskilket road right before the bridge? I haven't been that way by water in about 2 years but I would have swore that there was one there.

    Scott, thanks for calling me back today.  I have just completed the sign up and there will be 5 of us.  Thank you for allowing me to include my egger friend from Baton Rouge.  While his is not a BGE, he is the guy that got me into this in the first place.  Maybe now I will be able to convince him to join the forum.

    Thanks also very much for the kind offer to let me tie my boat up to your dock while I am up there.  We are bringing the young grandson who has taken an all consuming interest in fishing.

    I really can't wait to meet you and the others that have been so free with sharing information on here about being an Egghead.  You folks have certainly shortened the learning curve for a former (gave the thing away after my first butt cook) long time gasser.

    16 miles, 20 minutes according to Google Maps. 12 miles of that is I-10.

    My sonos system does a pretty good job filling the yard with music. Appreciate it though.

    We're going to be there on the 10th.  Just for the day, so if someone else wants the "hotel", they can have at it!  PS, I'm bringing my boat.  It's completely refurbished
