Yeah-I am a big fan of college b'ball and the tournament. I suspect I was catching the D-1 NCAA finals on the radio (yup I am old) well before your parents knew one another. I do remember Dean Smith and the clock killing 4 corner offense but even Oscar Robertson at Cincinnati and Lucas and Havlicek at Ohio State.
Can't reach back to Chamberlin at Kansas or russell at SF but did thoroughly enjoy their NBA battles.

@JohnInCarolina - keep the above postings up and I will likely have a momentary lapse of the B'ball tournament in the run-up to BB. Talk about bringin' the heat. Saw him (when with the Angels) vs Vida Blue (back before you were born) and it may have been the fastest ball game I ever attended. Nothing but heat from both of them. Good times.
