Looks like the Chaser and the Pod fit the designed in Tenn and made in China legend. The cooler itself is designed in Tenn and made in "America" ... or so says the fine print.

Blew 12" of "partly cloudy" off the driveway, knocked snow off the evergreens, then fixed up a pressure cooker full of beef stew, she's happily whistling away now and smells good!
What's your ragtop, Ozzie? I've got a 2001 Saab 9-3, love driving through the mountains topless!“I'll have what she's having."

Orca coolers are designed and made in the U.S.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Just tucked a double batch of asparagus roll-up appetizers into the freezer. Taking a breather before I make four pecan pies.

@theyolksonyou, thanks! Tomorrow is when the real ramp up begins. Baking a ham. Making sauce and browning and seasoning ground beef and Vitamixing a ton of Parmesan cheese in preparation of a ton of lasagna on Christmas. I know, not traditional, but several folks requested it. The pecan pies are never optional, lol.

Living the pseudo high drama listening to the local weather guessers. Do have some impressive late Dec T-storms rolling thru. But I I have sent letters and e-mails to the local head weather gurus about annually for 15 + years inquiring about why their under-graduate curriculum requires a minor in "high drama" and why they don't just give us the facts. You can guess the replies.
The community would be much better served if the talking heads would lay a directional vector on the weather front and the speed of advance for same. However, that would enable viewers to make some pretty accurate assessments of the incoming. When you are staring down the incoming front, you could predict when and and how you may be impacted. Guess what-once you lose power then all their oxygen consuming talk means nothing to those who are in the "dark".
Friggin amateur hour around here and consistent across networks and over time.
Time to take a deep breath-and inhale some bourbon. Venting complete.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -

When I was young, my grandmother made 2 pumpkin pies whenever she visited no matter what time of the year it was. One for the family, one for me. She passed 5 years ago. Last year my mother was going through her cookbooks, and found several pumpkin pie recipes in my grandmothers handwriting. One was labeled "Sea2Ski's favorite". I made three to that recipe tonight. I can not wait. I will share two with the family and one will be for me - just as she would want it.

Didn't happen just now. But, this morning at about 0630 in front of my office warehouse I scared a few tenants as I rinsed my 10 day cured ham. Pretty sure the dry cleaner dude next door thinks I'm a serial killer now.
Good deal! Now he'll move his van when he sees me coming around the side.

My sister dropped off a gingerbread house on my front door step 3 years ago thinking she was funny after Christmas. She told me to do something with it. My intent was to run it over with my truck. I kept putting it to the side of the garage until I got sick of it and set it up in my garage rafters. Well......3 years later I came across it. I completely forgot I set it up in the garage rafters. So my wife and I made the 50 mile round trip to their house and set it up in their front yard without them knowing. A couple saw horses, glass table top, and a flood light. Who puts a flood light to display a gingerbread house in their front yard? They do! Here's a small clip:
