My first visit to the sonoran desert was right after a 4-day rain, the desert was green and full of flowers and I had a new Nikon FM-2, 105mm Micro lens and 15 rolls of film. Life-changing week.Ozzie_Isaac said:

Did a clean burn after roasting a chicken last night. Waiting on the ash to cool down enough for me to be able to scrape into a paper bag and toss in the trash.

Sitting around waiting for a United Airlines flight to land four hours late. The passenger pick-up will greatly help with BGE cooks for the next two weeks- 24 year old son-food consumption machine but not nearly in the league with @SGH. All good however.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

Lightening just struck and knocked the power out in our neighborhood. I think some transformers blew...sounded like a bomb went off.
Our trusty natural gas standby generator kicked in so we got our power back within a minute. Most of the UPS's in the house don't like the generator power so they bleep annoyingly.
