On the other hand we have the number one killer of Muslims...... Muslims. Again, I guess if we're safe it doesn't matter. I mean, if the left is correct and there are only a handful of terrorist we'll probably be OK..... @Darby_Crenshaw That's an altruistic take on having political discussions. I thought I was being hedonistic. People feel better validating their beliefs. That's easy to do when you hang out with like-minded peers. There's a bit more diversity here, we have the spectrum of society....who am I kidding...these are mostly WASPS. Anyway, maybe the exposure and subsequent dialog to multiple sides of issues helps suss out some empathy for those that have little for the other side. And we do realize we're all people and feelings will get hurt. How one takes that or recovers from it speaks volumes.

Regardless of department, I do believe all the big govt agencies (those with cabinet secretaries) need to tighten their budget belts. And the trickle down impact would be good as well. A couple of days ago I posted a comment about the over sized DOD and that is this where I believe the greatest bloat has been in the past decade plus. I won't get into the Jobs program but that is what a good chunk of it is. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer!
