Any suggestions on how to cook some sprouts on the egg? Thinking about having some tonight.

I cover completely in lemon juice and microwave for 5 minutes. Then coat with evoo, your favorite rub and grill for another 20 minutes at 300-350

I've tried once using a flexi-basket. Turned out good but you lose some through the cracks. Olive oil and some Tony's indirect about 375-400. We do them in oven like that all the time. Cook until just starting to get some charred outsides, at least that's how me and the wife prefer them.

Thanks Dixie. That's how I do them in the house, but it's damn hot today and was trying to avoid the oven. Going to give them a try. Thanks again for the tip.Midland, TX XLBGE

I always split them length-wise before the 2 minute zap in the microwave. Then throw them in a cast iron pan with olive oil, diced finished bacon and whatever the fancy. Love me some Martian Heads! Wash and cut the base off. Pour a little olive oil in a CI skillet. Add some large diced onion and red pepper. Salt and pepper or season of your choice (I like Old Bay myself). Set on grill and cook for 10-12 min (more if a low temp). You want to pull before loss of briallant green color. Take it up a notch by adding some bacon drippings backing off of the olive oil.Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

I cut lengthwise, par boil for about a minute to kill the bitterness, then into the cast iron with bacon scraps, dried cherries or cranberries and EVOO and some balsamic.
30 min or so and get some char.
Thanks @legume for the compliment. -
Looks like I have several ways to try them. Thank ya'll for all the tips.Midland, TX XLBGE

I chop them in half, and toss them in olive oil, salt and pepper. Then i grill them until nicely brown, and then toss them in some balsamic vinegar after they come off, right before serving.

Thanks @Legume for the compliment.
Pretty sure everyone has covered this, but I like to cut in half, par cook, then place in a bowl.
Drizzle with EVOO, salt, and pepper.
Chop some bacon and render the bacon in a CI pan, but don't cook the bacon through. Remove the bacon, get CI up to temp, add sprouts and cook until a nice crust forms. I like to add some butter too along with the bacon grease. Add the bacon you pulled earlier. At the end, hit it with some balsamic vinegar.
Grate with fresh parm if you want.------------------------------

this is one of my favorites, if you don't mind eliminating all of the healty qualities. I would also just cook them in a small aluminium pan so you don't lose any.
