When I joined a popup trailer forum years ago I had to pick a name. The forum owner, Dean, used Dno for a handle, pronounced "dee-no". I like wine, so I picked Yno, proonounced "why-no".

I used to do embedded software, and there is slang Xemacs for a large bundle package, a sumo tarball. I always liked that, used it when I did final builds as nicknames for the build outputs. Then I started going to Japan a lot, even ex-pated there for a short stint.  And I got fatter.

That's funny because I'd assumed it was related to your affinity for wine.

  • when operating under the handle "MattBTI" I got the @SGH seal of approval for a post about "butt-juice". At that moment, I knew I had to re-handle myself to "Butt-Juice".
Correction, it was the double SGH seal of approval and the Caesar Hernandez Salute.

He explicitly said he picked the name because he likes wine. Me thinks there are dumb people around here for sure. Pot meet kettle.

If you slow your roll, you'll realize that the sentence "That's funny because I'd assumed it was related to your affinity for wine" can be read in the same way that someone would say "that's what I thought!"

    Words.  How do dey work?
