Power outage hic-cup.  Got back on and we just now declared victory.  Thanks to all who participated as it was great to catch up as close to "live and in colour" (nod) as can happen.  The conversation was quite lively and animated as expected. 

 I wish those who made an attempt but did not connect will give it a go the next time. 

We actually danced on the third rail for a few minutes but nothing noteworthy.

Where did everyone go?  I have been dealing with a **** show all evening.  Figured out one of my contractors has turned into a drunk.  So now I get to get up at 4am, go to Home Depot, get paint and finish a ceiling.

Was good to catch up with a bunch of folks, and to meet @Ybabpmuts !  I definitely have a different impression of the Stump having talked to him last night.  Once you learn about his history working as a bearded lady trainer in a traveling circus, a lot of things start to make sense.  And Beulah is a real sweetheart once you get past her tendency to want to poop in public.

Bearded lady trainer is the worst job in all of circusdom. Once a lady has a beard, they think they rule the circus and you can't teach them a thing. It's like they grow beard hair and balls at the same time. Sure bearded ladies sell a lot of tickets but so does the boy with the lobster hands and he takes a lot less grooming to get ready for his appearance, for home the whole readiness is 'hey, make like a lobster" but it's the constant grooming and preening of the beard on the bearded lady that slowly breaks you down.

You know what our clown always says ... anybody can learn to juggle a chainsaw, it's the day to day balloon animals that'll wear you down
