I don't see any of the above leaving until after Iowa and possibly NH. Scott has not yet cleared the bar for debate 3. If one was to go would say him.

I think he’ll hang around for a while Cap as he has some well-moneyed backers. On some level I think the calculus is “we may do better against a smaller field.” I think this is ultimately flawed as a strategy but I also think that many of these folks are actually running for a chance at the VP slot or a cabinet post down the road with a second Agent Orange administration.lousubcap said:I don't see any of the above leaving until after Iowa and possibly NH. "The podcaster noted that clips have repeatedly gone viral on social media claiming that Desantis is wearing lifts to make him appear taller than he is because he is insecure about his height. Desantis claimed that he was completely unaware of any of it.
He was shown a clip of his boots, but claimed that they were "standard, off-the-rack" boots and not enhanced in any way. The podcaster then asked him how tall he was and Desantis claimed he was 5'11" (no way).
At this point, awkward Desantis was in full squirm mode.
The interviewer then offered him some new tennis shoes to wear, but Desantis refused to accept them because he said he doesn't accept gifts."

P.S. - He seems to follow the Clarence Thomas school of thought- all those DeSantis trips on private jets from fat cat donors aren't gifts; they're just tokens of friendship.

Well, that R debate last night was a spectacle in most respects. Haley had a good showing and Scott is fading in my simple assessment. DeSantis and Christie were steady. I didn't watch the VP debate last night, but I did watch all those clips of the highlights.HeavyG said:
