Amazing to me that we're seeing actual candidates for the presidency, including a former VP, that are advocating for (or at least pandering to their base) choosing the opposite of qualified people to lead critical federal agencies. Why not find a HS football coach to lead the Fed while we're at it or an oil exec to run the EPA.
There was a time, not too long ago, that this would be the end of someone's viability as a candidate. I realize neither are terribly viable now, but FFS, I don't understand how this doesn't make them a laughing stock with everyone.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER -

One can only hope that this is the beginning of the end for CHEETO but unfortunately DeSantis's campaign is so hosed up I doubt it will have any impact.Christie hammers at every opportunity and not gaining much ground.@Botch's post (below) captures what I believe is the root cause:
