WTF do people see in this fool?

    Their equal.
Nah that’s not it.  They see someone who pisses off people they don’t like, and that’s more than enough.
Most don't but some do. Funny as hell watching it😝
It’s funny but I’d never think to vote for someone on the basis of them likely angering someone else.  I’ve never understood that.  I vote for candidates  that I think will pass policies I think are better for the country.

When Trump won in 2016 someone I know said to me “now you’ll know how it felt for us under Obama!”  I was like - what?  It’s like the vote for Trump was taken in revenge.  Just bizarre.

Back in 2016 I viewed CHEETO as the lesser of two evils.  Now that CHEETO has shown his true character, lack of integrity and total disregard for the US Constitution I loathe him.  He makes Nixon look like a saint.
What a discredit to this nation.  And here we go again.  F' me.

You're missing the point.  The justification for voting for the guy was entirely about making someone else feel bad.  It wasn't about the possibility of say a reduction in taxes, or some other policy that might get passed.  Whether you want to call that revenge or not it's a bizarre reason for voting for a candidate.

Definitely would have never considered a vote for Trump, but also wasn't shocked at his appeal to many because I live in a state that once voted Jesse Ventura as its governor. Definitely some parallels. Having said that, even after Trump won my reaction was, well this is why we have three branches. How naive I was.

I thought Ventura ended up being a pretty good Gov'nor?

He definitely didn't do lasting damage like Dorito Loco, but Ventura's narcissism also meant any issues he prioritized also benefited him directly. Also different than Trump is that neither party in the MN legislature particularly liked him. Also thin-skinned and vengeful for no reason other than spite.

I like that she is sticking with this belief of hers which I am sure she thinks is a stroke of genius -  a real "gotcha" moment in her eyes.

I hope that my state doesn’t try to use this as an excuse to divert IRA funds .

I’m not keen on the idea of growing fuel while there are major food shortages all over the world. But using waste oils is fine.  I worked for Chevron, have been to their campus in CA.   They’re a pretty decent company as far as others in the industry go.

Definitely good to see them making moves, but I had to chuckle because Exxon and Chevron are sitting on record piles of cash, the cars and consumers are already there for them, and yet...

Bringing the cost of these renewable gasoline blends to affordable levels would depend on supportive government policies, Exxon said. Chevron added it could be years before the renewable fuel could be available in pumps.

"We believe it is going to need government help to get up and running, and get scale," Walz said, referring to existing incentives such as those provided for biodiesel and renewable diesel.

Well we already subsidize/grow corn to put into our gas tanks, why not add some soybeans into the mix?

The soybeans are easier on the soul and require less fertilizer and herbicide. Biodiesel is 8 times as efficient as ethanol on an energy in/ energy out basis. Maybe that will translate over into this fuel. We shall see but I am sticking with my EV personally.

Just the standard corporate maxim: Get as much free, taxpayer money  to subsidize our projects as possible.

Getting a tax break for child care is socialist welfare, but a company getting a tax break no good reason is good capitalism.

If I am not mistaken there’s a tax deduction for child care.

That agenda was promoted by previous inhabitants of the White House.  Biden, your current president, is working hard to correct those exploitations.  This article will give you a brief synopsis of where we are heading, explore it deeper as you see fit...

We can recycle part of it that’s true. There’s a problem with storage at these facilities and the damage of fire though. But the raw materials are controlled by other countries. We will be even more dependent on them forever with this technology. They will continue to use slave labor to mine the cobalt and other materials. Just research how much material is moved to make just one Tesla battery. This will never be close to being green or good for the planet. It’s a pipe dream you’ve been sold by your masters.

The take home message is that, were humans not pumping lots of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, mean temperatures wouldn’t have really changed relative to pre-industrial times.
