I used to get mad at my spices all the time, then I learned how to use them properly. Also, I didn't buy the larger bottles until I figured out the smaller ones well enough, because sometimes I couldn't figure it out at all and if I bought the big one already too, that's a waste of money. I'm guessing that's what happened to you since you have two of the same rubs and your mad at them.

i remember natureboy years ago if this was to be  a problem on the forum. not really sure if it was a cost issue or an availability issue. the consensus was that we could deal with it. its the forums fault

By the way if you own a power drill and a large bit this is no longer a problem after a few minutes of work.  That bidet has made you soft.

Check the ingredient list. Maybe it's entirely made of nothing, nada and zip, in which case I'm not sure you'd know if it was coming out or not. If that's the case, I hope it wasn't sold by weight. If so .. that would make me mad too.

what would piss me off even more is finding it with the foil seal not reinserted to keep it fresh longer. i dump mine in a bowl too mix it with the jamaican stuff anyways so no real need for the shaker side

I make my own, loosely based on popular store bought brands. A tweak here and there and store them in dark colored Ball jars in the kitchen pantry

At some point you've gotta pick the things you can control or manage.  The closer to you the more the impact.
Regarding the national issues, that wound is so deep that until the Dear Leader admits to the oath of the President of the United States "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States" then the way ahead is gonna be a very challenging ride.  I did hear him say those words on January 20, 2017.  FWIW-
