$4.79/ gallon premium here, down from $5.09 a month ago. im surprised the place even dropped the price. theres a cheaper place that discounts now running on prepaid debit cards, maybe that turns into the norm
Why are you buying premium gas?

so i dont do 5k in damage to the exhaust system and explode the supercharger ;) that and my dog refuses to drive in anything less. regular is up near 4 bucks, i think i saw 3.89 the other day
Oh I forgot you have that janky Landrover you drive around.                                          It's like brand new right now.....put in a hundred bucks of new brake line this year.    Will have 180k on it in a few weeks.....how long do they last before they start having issues
If you're driving a British car, may want to check the quality of the roof install.
    Love you bro!

the south east seems to be pushing the average down. up here it budged a nickel. i think i saw 3.75 yesterday for the lousy winter regular and add another 6 bucks in dry gas for the extra water they give out

You might want to look again.  The tick marks are only at January and July, not every month.  It is an odd graph, so you have to look carefully.

It's just the gas companies raising prices in time for summer tourist travel - happens every year. How nice of them. :)
Gotta keep those profits at record highs again.

Or there are several war related supply chain links in Ukraine, Russia, Iran and their client states. Ukraine is attacking every Russian refinery they can reach for example.

Regular here is $3.45 a gallon.

@fishlessman I saw you post something on the main board about how cheap gas was four years ago.  That was good for a laugh.

i dont remember posting that, but who knows.....im actually happy they changed back to summer gas, 17 mpg just bumped up past 20 mpg in the rover, it will get near 22 once the station tanks normalize and the winter mix is fully gone. i hate that winter crap, never had this problem before ethanol

it was about 40 at 3am this morning when the pup needed to go out, cold wet and rainy walking the dog. not calling it summer yet :s hopefully this ritual is over in another month and or the coyotes have moved on to a different area so a can just let him out to do his business

Looks quite a bit lower than it is now.  I can't imagine what was possibly going on in the spring of 2020 that might explain such low gas prices...

One of the very few benefits of covid 2020 was the cheap gas to consume on the very sparsely travelled roads.  Finding conditions to air it out was easy.

i drove near a buck50 for close to 5 miles and never passed another vehicle heading to camp, way too fast for me to try it twice in my not so aerodynamic 6000 lb cinder block ;)  nobody on the roads was nice
