Championing caveman steak cooks and how you may know if it's for you-

I am a big proponent of caveman steak cooks as the char is what does it for me.  On a much simpler front I have concluded ( no research $$ here) that the stage of finish you enjoy on toast may help lead you to the promised land.  Below is a reasonable selection of finished toast:
I live for number 5 on the lower right.  So, if that or darker is your preference-give it a go! Or just give it a go to your finish preference!
More enlightenment Friday nights at the Zoom/Speakeasy-

He is messing with our minds, I’ve been trying to figure out for the last 5 minutes (make it 10) how he came up with number 5 on the bottom right 😂

That may be true for toast.  For steak, it's bottom center.  Caveman for the win.

I must be able to read Frankese at this point, because I understood which one he was talking about right away, lol.

Under the cold light of day for me, number 5 is bottom row-centre (nod).
Sorry for the initial lack of clarity but it was a bit over-cast last night.  B)
