My local Target carries the Momofuku noodles now, but I decided they weren’t really worth the coin.

If undocumented immigrants are "freeloaders" mooching off the system, why are ICE agents raiding workplaces to find them?

Based on trying them, or your feelings?

Um, I've got one pkg left out of a six-pack, so based on trying them.  Their noodles are supposedly air-dried rather than fried, but I can't really tell a difference; and their "sauce/ingredient" packets are supposedly better too, but I've always doctored up instant ramens with frozen shrimp, bits of fresh veggies/aromatics, and seasonings by taste.

Thanks for clarifying, Botch.  I can see how some frozen shrimp could change the coin calculus.

I personally think they are absolutely worth it while on sale.  I like them a lot.

Unbelievable discounts. Makes you wonder why they’re even selling at those prices. Pads for $2.42 and rotors at $4.76?!

Bet @Canugghead is jealous. He might even be warming up the Odyssey for the drive down now!

I think advance auto/carquest is in financial trouble but I haven’t dug in to the topic.

A good portion of Carquests are closing around here. I believe they are owned by Advance Auto. When talking to the employee she said they tried to sell their inventory to a couple other local businesses but they weren't interested.

Yeah, the pricing was crazy. I had $800 worth of parts ordered but by the time the employee fulfilled my online order people had already purchased it in person. Beggars can't be choosers. The employee had a 1/2" thick worth of online orders at the printer. I'm glad I went in early. I had no idea about the store closing as Advance Auto was a wheel bearing short of set that I needed so this particular store was the next closest option. I thought it was an error to be honest when I first ordered it. I did finally see something that said all sales are final when checking out online. So that made go back and order some more parts that I could use in future use. I wasn't really truly convinced until pulling into the parking lot and seeing a sign that says, "Up to 95% off."

@poster It's PC Optimuum personal targeted offer, for buying minimum $25 fuel at Esso, using Esso app and paying with PC Financial Mastercard. If you have the pre requisites and get the offer, make sure your payment card and loyalty card are linked into your Esso app and pay with the app.

Been buying them for a while.  The salts, aged soy sauce, and chili crisp(s) are good too.  There is a hot honey chili crisp that I can’t get enough of.

USD 3.80/gallon, still significant higher than what you pay, right?

Haven’t tried the hot honey chili crisp yet, but I did get some in this latest shipment.  I’ll have to bump it up the queue!

Gas station in Canada once told me it was more expensive there because you got more gas per tank....😆

I think I got more water than diesel in the Yukon Territory, ten minutes after leaving the gas station my fuel filter plugged and truck de-rated to 55mph (that is a issue on that stretch of road). The lady working there would just as soon throw coffee in my face than sell me a cup.  They are a different breed up there.
