How fast can you get that cement mixer to turn?  Could a guy polish brass in that?  It is nice looking mixer!

Eras tour merch, so SWMBO Jr won't need to stand in line or carry an extra bag around tonight.

I don't see why you couldn't put walnut shells in there with brass like a vibratory cleaner.

    It was cheap!

water pump kit for the 91 merc.  next weekends project. was so close to floating it this weekend......

changed out the water pump impeller, not the pump. next weekend start pulling things off the motor and tracing the lines, something is clogged. also broke the 3 inch long plastic needle valve for the power trim release, only took three hours to get the rest out of the unit. just bought a ss replacement off amazon. next weekend for some more fun. anyone deal with marinas lately, no stock, no experience..........3 marinas to find the part number for a basic pump impeller for one of the most sold motors merc had at the time.

Hopefully a few rutland gaskets from @RRP for my LBGE & MMBGE. After everything I’ve read and heard I’m pretty pumped about this possibly being the last gasket I will need to install.
I have a brand new nomax gasket sitting in my garage but kept thinking if I’m gonna replace the gasket why not just do it once with the rutland and be done.

What I didn't buy this morning: my market had Snake River Farms wagyu briskets on sale, $7.99/lb.  They had five, and they were huge ($130 - $150 apiece).
I'd purchased one SRF steak from them a couple years ago, $37.  It didn't smell very good out of the wrapper.  I rinsed it thoroughly, then cooked it a bit longer than I would've liked.  It tasted okay, I didn't get sick but I also didn't feel very good the rest of the day.  The fact that these briskies are on sale, by the same market, had me give them a pass.

The only time I have seen SRF briskets in the wild was a one off visit to a Texas HEB while on a Central Texas brisket bender in June 2019.  The meat locker lineup was impressive across the board.

The main boards/motherboards on my salt cell computers were not functioning correctly. A lot of the board was corroded.  I doused the motherboards in this stuff and they came back to life completely.  Saved me $1,000.
Corrosion X is fantastic!    I use it on anything that has been subjected to saltwater.

Received my rutland gaskets from @RRP. Talk about service with a smile. I contacted him via email late Wed night. He responded almost immediately. He shipped the gaskets out the following morning and they arrived at lunchtime today. I mean you can’t ask for better service or price. Each gasket came with instructions. That doesn’t include the couple emails he sent explaining each and every detail prior to receipt of them.
I know I’m not the first to say this nor will I be the last but kudos to you Mr. Ron! Thank you very much!
Now I just need to find the time to replace the old gaskets with the new rutlands.
    Thanks once again @RRP !

Depends on the day. One of my faves is a little Canadian-made 5watt all-tube.

Did you lean towards acoustic or electric drumsets? Did you play for fun? In bands?

One new tire… purchased a set of 4 brand new tires 2-3 weeks ago at Costco.  This morning after finishing our Costco run, I noticed a flat tire on the passenger side and it is unrepairable.  Out of all the places we could get the flat, Costco parking was the best place.  Only one caveat, I took out the lock nut out of the car last night… I had to ask a friend to drive me home to get the lock nut and then back to Costco.  The good news is that we got a road hazard insurance when we paid for the tire installation.  The bad news is that the tire isn’t in stock and has gone up in price so we have to pay the difference and wait (it is a long weekend here) so we are stuck at home.  Still, 100$ is better than 400$…

Buying 48 of these.  One of our guests was a helicopter pilot in our Armed Forces for 27 years.  He was shot down at 3,800 feet in Vietnam.  He was the only survivor in the chopper.  He was hospitalized for 3 years.  He loved serving and loved the armed forces.  They discharged him in 1984 as disabled.  Well, he loves these drinks and the VA is supposed to have them for free.  He has been waiting 4 months for them to come in stock.  I only talked to him for 5 minutes and we covered a lot of ground in those 5 minutes.  This man deserves his Strawberry Ensure!  I would put him at 85 years old based on the info he gave.  He is here with us until September.  What a guy.

I learned in the Navy (nukes and pilots excepted while on active duty) that with service members, the VA or any other medical plan coverage that you have to drive your health concerns.  No one is gonna be your champion until you find one and good luck with that.
Disappointed but not surprised at his situation.  The VA is swamped with more than the system can handle.
Given his age, he is has Medicare and hopefully Part B and if he has any Medicare supplemental insurance he should go outside the VA.
Hopefully if he talks with a VFW medical benefits counselor he can get what he has earned.

Well I am sure I will get the chance to talk to him in the very near future. Thanks for the info. He has a son here in town that seems to take care of things for him. The guy has a sweet motorhome.  Summers in MI and Winters in TX.  He and his wife.

Costco is hardcore on their "repairable" guidelines. I have a local shop who will repair pretty much anything as long as it isn't in the actual sidewall.  They never charge either.

Acoustic, Gretsch kits.   I mainly did project work, but was in a couple bands but preferred to just get a couple buddies together and mess around.   Had some recordings but they got lost when a laptop bit the dust.

Yep, I would take that to a tire shop and have them patch it for a spare.
