ETA yesterday, 3 boxes from 1st order. Only one box (80lb) came today, pleasantly surprised to see two guys carrying it carefully, vs the three-letter company guy dragging a much bulkier and heavier box up my driveway solo last year. The box was ripped due to poor packing but the two bags of pellets inside look pristine and smell amazing even without opening.

@poster I suppose no news from you is good news.

Tracking number shows delivery today...shipped from Kitchener.
Didn't yours come from way out west?
First order shipped from Hamilton, the remaining two boxes just showed up after I called in to initiate a trace.

It's my second order that's coming from Saskatoon, ETA Thursday.

Edit: Turned out the two boxes I just received is the Saskatoon order. 2/3 of first order still missing.
1 of 4 just showed up all wrapped up in plastic. I do not understand any of the logic behind the shipping, but its free, so can't complain.

Stroking the lever on buying new thumb studs, spacers and clip for a pocket knife—which will be used to slice sausage off the BGE.

If it doesn't have a deep pocket clip, you need it changed out. Bench made makes two styles which means your buying a new clip some times

sorry, it’s not the actual pocket clip (which is deep carry) it’s the back lash portion used to tether, etc.

Yes sir, that’s the goal.  Handles black, blade stonewashed, red accents would turn it into my Alma Mater colors and set it apart from others.

Is that an Osborne?  Mine has black carbon scales and S90V steel.  But the accents are blue.

That is a Bailout, handle like a Bugout but with a Tanto blade.  My favorite blade profile with one of my favorite handle shapes.  Now I kind of want one.

Reminds me of the end-of-line floor demo BS pizza oven at Lowes, about CAD 160-170 with some parts missing/damaged. Should have bought it and call BS for replacement parts.

I spend enough money at Harbor Freight they keep giving me the ITC membership free (I'm sure there's an algorithm behind it) and they all know me.  Doesn't help that it's about 300 yards from my shop.

Ever had anything from HF fail on you?   My buddy and I almost died one day using a bottle jack of theirs - hydraulics failed on the first go.   I still have a nice scar from that episode.

Since then I only go with tarps or moving blankets--figure those items would be hard to kill me.

Never had any life-threatening harbor freight equipment failures.

Also always follow my rules on climbing under anything jacked up - lock or chock the wheels if they are on the ground and use jack stands if using a hydraulic jack.  I won't use one if I'm just replacing a tire, but if I'm doing anything more I insist on redundant supports.

Anyway, since I got the car lift I don't use the floor jacks as much.

I really need an old barn find. I use the hf way more than I want to with the boat and docks.it fails enough that I don't go higher than six inches without blocking under the boat, then another six inches and keep doing that til I'm close to four feet. Up in winter for good drainage, down at iceout. The mechanism slips way too often. Mounted it on a steel plate for more stability but things go wrong quickly when you drop a couple thousand pounds.

I had my tractor on blocks for a month. I cut two pieces of ash log about 24" diameter and set it on those, I figure if it could hold a tree up it could hold my tractor.

I use a Hi-Lift brand, I mean you know it when you need it but if there is a safer way...  If I blow a tire on a small implement in the field I know I can catch the frame a few feet up and get a tire changed.

fwiw, I try to remember not to pass under a garage door before it's fully opened and came to a complete stop... had a close call once when the release rope caught something (don't ask how  :) ) and the door came crashing down, phew!

This particular dealing was not vehicular (always use Jack stands for that type work).   Regardless since then I haven’t gone the HF route for anything that could be critical.   Plenty of other items there for daily use though.

I'm in hf pretty often for things. The 4 foot jack I highly recommend to take a pass. Most stuff there is usable, not the best, but you can get by with it and it's inexpensive. I have no problem using a hammer with a ratchet wrench from hf. My old Craftsman and snapons, not so much

My wife asked me to cut something last weekend and when I said “sure let me get the dykes” the strangest look was on her face.   All settled once the task was done.
