  • If BGE produced Eggs in those two shades of pink, I’d legit buy at least one of the two. Wifey would be over the moon.

     Peaked my curiosity. Looks like bobcat tractors are made by kioti, you might get the kioti cheaper. All the small tractors are made overseas. It comes down to how close and how much do you like your dealer.  If I were in the small tractor market I would look at a Kubota, Massey or Deere. I know you weren’t asking for advice but I couldn’t help myself.

    Thats alright. I have no Kioti dealer or Massey in my area. An equivalent Kubota or Deere is a fair bit more, and by the looks of the specs and hydraulics the Bobcat seems to be heavier/stronger in most categories. Ive been looking for quite sometime and thats just what ive come up with. They all seem like they will last and no one company is leaps and bounds better than another. With the amount of hours/year I would put on, any brand will likely be fine, so like you said a lot comes down to the dealer. Unfortunately like vehicles used units are hard to find and if you do find one they are almost the same price as new.

    @poster.
    our bobcat dealer in our area has been great to work with (we have a ZTR).

    my John Deere dealer has been less than ideal at every go. I truly regret buying the machine from them.

    ...... Jokes aside, keep everyone out of the fall/swing path and don't lift over anything you breakable, you should be fine.
    That applies to any lifting equipment not specifically designed to fail safe / having a twin load path. I've worked with lifting equipment for 30 years and you won't find me anywhere near getting underneath a load on a crane or fork lift. There were always a few fun pictures circulating at Demag when I worked there - like a large chunk of concrete with slings round it, flat on the deck with an arm sticking out the side.

    This with the lid

    I've had mine just shy of a year now. I really like it. The lid is worth every penny as well

    Getting a quote but....a compressor for the commercial freezer in my garage.  It's on its 3rd service call in as many weeks.  They think they finally figured it out.  File this under "the actual egg purchase is the least expensive part"

    Who here built the entire walk-in freezer with the cool looking wooden front door that hides it all?  I remember the build, but can't recall who the member was.

  • A new master bathroom, new flooring in said bathroom as well as master bedroom and living room.  Also, removing popcorn from ceilings and replacing baseboards.  They don't start until tomorrow and this already sucks.  Praying that they actually work faster than promised.  My wife does not do will with messes.  Her OCD is already through the roof.

    I'm thinking we should have just sold the house.  lol  This all started with a cracked tile in the shower.  Now we are moving the shower and making one big wet room.  Something like this.  I probably shouldn't have let her meet with the contractor while I was at work.  lol

    That is going to be amazing!  Prepare yourself though, they will not move faster then planned, you will be the one cleaning up after.them, and there will be extended periods of time while nothing is happening and everything is torn up.

    It will all be worth it, but be mentally prepared for it.

    @Hook_emHornsfan_74@Ozzie_Isaac is absolutely correct as I personally can attest. You also will be the one to move all the current cabinets out of the area of mass destruction. Be glad that is not your only shower/bathroom. Oh, and you also get to hear some of my favorite comments/excuses, "supply chain issues" and "because of the pandemic".

  • @SamIAm2 luckily our cabinets are in good shape so we are just having them re-sanded and painted.  But yeah, just moving everything out of all the rooms has really sucked.
