Those Italian designers can definitely do some serious sculpting.

Great sighting right there.  The owner/driver had to figure the weather was perfect to roll those tires.  Never have seen that colour in a Corvette.

I did a double take when I saw it.  The color totally threw me off.

I’ve been holding out on all of you, so I thought I’d finally reveal the exotics hidden in my garage.

The yellow one is a retro reproduction in all-metal construction that I bought at a car show in Carlisle, PA.

I love the old school metal pedal cars!  Cool that you have a daily pedaler, and a trailer queen.

Not true, I do not think the SUV called a Mustang is uglier, but it still made me chuckle.

This is one I would love to have just for nostalgia's sake. It became readily available when I was 14/15.  Back when I knew so many "numbers" on all the cars available.  I think they are now coming into my price range. . . A '94 can be had for mid 30s.

@jdMyers - I booked the Event right after your initial post on it.  Looking forward to seeing the collection.
It's the Triple F Collection Event if any are interested.  Here's the link:

I have always loved the Viper as well. It's my understanding prices are good because parts are really hard to get

First glance I thought it was an MX-5 with some bolt on bling.  For me, proportions are weird, not aesthetically doing it.  But a hell of an overpowered car.

I love the absurd proportions.  Rear wheel drive V10, all American... Isn't trying to be something it is not.  Hood long enough to land a Cessna on and barely there rear end.  Like driving a freight train.  My neighbor let me take his out for a spin many moons ago.  It was a serious rush.  Even just idling at a stop light was fun.

A 3000 lb RWD V-10 with no traction control or stability control of any variety.  What could possibly go wrong?  lol

They are unpleasant to drive for transportation and they are hard to keep on the road.  Fun to money ratio is pretty bad, and probably why there aren’t many out there.  All the power to those that like them tho.  I guess.

Some had traction control, in all fairness.

Maybe some of the later models, but I don’t think the first set of Vipers did.  All kinds of stupid was possible in a hurry with those things.

I remember seeing some Vipers at the autocross track.  Everyone is ooing and ahhing about them, then they over steer or plow all over the track and get crap times.  Not the car's fault, really. Just a hard car to drive, but in the right hands, can be very fast.

That's interesting you say that. I think Doug Demuro daily drove his for a year and had positive things to say about it. Casey Putsch also has a daily Viper. I want to say both Vipers were the GTS models. The GTS has more creature comforts than the original Viper. I don't think anyone would want to daily the first gen Viper.
