I have been very fascinated with offset stick burners for quite a while. I decided to go for it and ordered a Shirley 24x36 Patio. Been reading a watching videos on how it's done so can't wait to fire it up.

I can assure you your egg will still see cooks. I often have my offset and egg going at the same time.I hope you enjoy your offset as much as I do mine.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

As you are aware, a totally different animal than the BGE. Have fun with it.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
