Going to Rest the Egg

I have been very fascinated with offset stick burners for quite a while.  I decided to go for it and ordered a Shirley 24x36 Patio.  Been reading a watching videos on how it's done so can't wait to fire it up.

Looking forward to seeing the cooker and the cooks!

Don't tell your problems to people.  80% of people don't care and 20% are glad you have them.

I can assure you your egg will still see cooks. I often have my offset and egg going at the same time.
I hope you enjoy your offset as much as I do mine.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

That is one impressive rig.  Wish that was around 4 years ago when I scratched the stick burner itch.
As you are aware, a totally different animal than the BGE.  Have fun with it.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
