I've got nothing Frank buutttt.   We are making it a point to eat MUCH more fish (me fish Ms. B chicken) in the future and a lot less pork .  So I know how to grill chicken , but a discussion about fish next Friday would be nice.

@bucky925 - what are the chances of talking about char-grilled oysters?  You may be awakened to a whole new epicurean delight especially if we can get @nolaegghead and his cohorts on board.

Shameless bump and a roll-call request to see who's planning on a trip to the virtual watering hole tonight.  I will roll in around 9 PM (EDT) if the lounge is gonna be inhabited.
I get the conflict with the observed July Fourth impact on today's calendar.

@dmchicago - just have a chat with your bartender before launch and you should be just fine.  Don't fuel for escape velocity til later in the evening.  B)

  • Hard maybe for me but if I do make it, it should be entertaining to the others on the chat. Day drinking is on the menu today.

Getting ready to log on. We did our morning bicycle ride with a friend who is an Ironman Triathlete, and I managed to smoke her on a couple of hills. Not bad for a guy on Social Security! Had to recover at our local wine bar (loser had to pay!) so I am going to sober up for an hour so I can figure out Zoooooom.

Is the call over already?  😂

I was going to join for a drink but ended up having guests.  I’ll probably be there next week.

Long list of topics last night (with an assist from @lousubcap).  I don't think I need to provide suggestions any more - it seems the conversation always ends up going where no man has gone before:

    Universities opening in the fall

Student gap years, pros and cons

    Future of commercial real estate

    Fireworks and July 4th- hazards

    Wine and queso-is it right?

Nitrogen and use in car tires

Value of ceramic coatings for car finishes

    Waterskiing and speedos

I’m sorry I didn’t get there last night. The Friday night forum zoom was a topic with our guests. We were discussing how COVID has brought changes - both good and bad into our “normal”. For the record, I was using the Friday night zoom as a positive. I now have faces and voices to go with forum names.

Of course I’ve been lucky enough to miss the horse heads and puppet shenanigans...

I have no idea what I did after I got off the call but I woke up with my shoes looking like this. Hope I had fun.

I had burrs on the shin of my pants too so I can confirm that I was at least partially clothed for whatever this was.

@The Cen-Tex Smoker Did you experience a gravity fed "man down" event?  Asking as this was the first Zoom in a few weeks where we did not have one on the call.    B)
