I haven't seen it, and I don't plan to.  I'm actually really surprised this didn't take place in Florida.  From what I gather, it is the most Florida thing ever.
It’s 50% in Florida, half in Oklahoma and 1/4 in South Carolina.
    Love you bro!

Is it weird that  read that in Yogi Berra's voice.

I also noticed that netflix is calling this season 1.  undoubtedly Joe Exotic will get himself in front of a camera again so I am going to say this isn't the last of this.

I have sadly encountered people of similar mindsets as these people on this show but obviously much less drastic scale....
My second boss almost made the exact same comment of .."Give the hired help just enough to buy their beer, but not enough to thrive and they keep coming back to work for me."
And I have met some doosies of people involved in the animal rescue business....couple of those people have been arrested for embezzlement,  animal theft and brandishing weapons...(one did at my old secretary)...

Show is actually a relief that there is more F'd up skit than that and I have no connection other than entertainment value...

Like Yukon ron said it's an estimated 1wtf moment per minute on the show

Hahaha - we watched ep 5 last night.  One hell of a eulogy.
Especially with the kid’s mom in the front row.

Cut us a little slack, it was 15% in the Libertarian primary.

Just remember, anytime you know someone that's feeling down, all you have to do is go stick your balls in their face.

My Beautiful Wife told me about this show which was centered among big cats in a zoo. I know she is a cat lover x 10, so I agreed to sit there and watch this with her.

Within 3 minutes, of the first episode, it was a WTF? moment for me and thus far after about a million more WTFs, we have completed the third episode.

I think I am losing a minimum 10 IQ points for every episode, and I do not have that many to give to begin with.

This is about the craziest thing I have ever seen on TV in my life. Admittingly I do not watch a lot of tv, but this is beyond bizarre.

Kind of explains cat people to me. We have 2.

Right, I just watched the intro and I feel like I lost enough IQ points I might even lose a game of tic-tac-toe to @littlerascal56

No weirder than me reading it in Yogi Bear's voice.

You all think this is weird you need to find “The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia”.  Seriously the best documentary I have ever seen of this style I watched it like 10 times in a row when it came out about 9 years ago or so. Well worth the 2.99 to rent it on like YouTube or google play.

    AGREE

But also a little depressing by the time you’re done with the wtf’s in that one.  I don’t see this one bringing me down about a whole region and culture.

The wife and I watched the first episode.  I have to say I was prepared for something a lot stranger, so thank you to all of you for setting expectations.  And yes I’ve gathered that it only gets stranger from here.
