Rule #1 for never retiring wealthy: buying things you see on the BGE forum.

I now can retire, very comfortable, I might add, at age 97.

    Thank all of you.

Rule #2 for never retiring wealthy: Not being clever enough to invent solutions for problems that don't exist.

I'm not smart enough to think of gadgets to sell people. I'm a luddite and still use a knife.

Cool idea though in all seriousness.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

I notice he didn't do a demo on the silver-skin.  I will pass as the next piece of the deal will be the special sharpening kit.  But thanks for the post-just didn't set the hook here.

If Big Green Craig isn't demo-ing this at an Eggfest sometime soon, I'll be disappointed.

I'm holding out for the left handed version.

I think my sister gave me one of those a while back, as a not so subtle hint that she wanted me to smoke brisket for her more often.

I wish I knew where I put it, because I may have another use for it now.

I was gifted one of these by my inlaws 2 years ago. Have used it a couple of times and it does a pretty good job with the hard fat. It only came with the one blade and I don't have plans of ordering replacements.

  • I have one lol. I bought it to trim skin off pork bellies. It sucks for brisket but did ok on the bellies. I used it once on each. Have no ideas where it even is at this point. I’m pretty sure I posted it on here somewhere.
