I’m going to be down in Baton Rouge for a couple of days this week for a workshop at LSU. I’ve never been, and I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to get out for lunch or dinner, but if any of you have restaurant/bbq recs for the area please post them here.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

Just rent a high performance machine and road trip to meet up with @nolaegghead. Even if that is too far out there, gotta be great groceries await. Screw the Q-cajun for the win.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Not sure about Baton Rouge per se, but when we lived in Texas we rode through Louisiana a lot. Ate at a ton of hole in the wall type places that looked like they should receive an F from the health inspector. Luckily no one died, but it was some good eats.Las Vegas, NV

I spent 2 weeks there when I was just starting out my professional career- been so long no idea where I ate but it was all good.
Went there this summer for the kid to tour LSU and every place we tried was closed fro some reason.

Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting. The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president. -
I heard Popeyes is good there._________________________________________________Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story!Large BGE 2006, Mini Max 2014, 36" Blackstone, Anova Sous Vide
