We got 1.2” of rain. Fear monger (weather man) was predicting hell fire and brimstone last night at 10. Gusts up to about 35 and then a solid 90 minutes of rain. No damage out and about the area where we live.

    Local forecast says...
Temperatures trend MUCH warmer... records could broken this weekend, also rain becomes likely but it won't be a washout! Currently 58°, partly cloudy.

    No severe weather forecast.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Just drizzling right now.  Lots of thunder.   Another front of rain in a bit, then it should taper off.  I heard some stuff outside get blown around, but that really windy period was only about 10 minutes.

Pretty much a non-event for us at our house.  Some minor flooding on the N shore of the Lake from waves.

Hopefully everyone is as lucky as us.

Lots of rain but the wind isn’t bad for a hurricane zone.

Front has passed-got about 1.3" of rain, highest wind gust was around 45 mph and a new high temperature record for today of 70*F was set.  (prior record set in 1890 of 69*F).
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

The only problem it has is collecting pine straw in the valley made by the laundry room extension in the back. Otherwise very well!

I am. Even where I live it’s not supposed to be shorts and flip flops weather in January.

Was in a movie theater last night when the storm came through.  It took out the power to the theater briefly.  Apparently when the projectors reboot, the video doesn't come along for the ride.  Had a 20 minute break in the movie but were given 2 free passes for our inconvenience.  By the time the movie ended, the rain had stopped.

There’s something comical about that umbrella and some shingle.

We got off lightly, thank God.  We had some heavy rain and fairly high winds. My cooking chair got turned over, but the eggs and Karubecue came through with out moving or turning over. Locking casters and no covers on the eggs.
