Back in the poor student days, a friend of mine would make hot dog curry. It was actually pretty good.

I told my son Duke (4.5yrs old now) that it was National Hot Dog day and asked if I should cook hot dogs for dinner. He said no, so I asked him what I should cook for dinner. He wants corndogs. I don't know if he's getting hot dogs or the planned for spaghetti I was going to do, but I'm not eating corndogs for dinner.
Image result for spaghetti with hot dogs

I'm sure Duke would eat it, but I'm not going to . LOL
what would really make this dish great is adding the dogs to mama junes ketchup butter sketti =)

Having spent much time in Germany, the currywürst was a huge favorite for the locals. Everyday was plans to hit the places that served it. Some sort of sausage or hot dog in a curry sauce and frites.

    Every single day.

    Everyday.

@Carolina Q  Oversized and split top.  Very nice indeed.  I'm taking the chili route myself.
Okay, chili's done. Pink's recipe with a little less flour and a little more stock. I used chicken stock, not beef, as always.

Gonna be a dog, yellow mustard, onion and Pink's chili. Pretty much a Coney dog. The chili is EXCELLENT!!!

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

What's wrong with corn-dogs for dinner?  You can even use ketchup on corn-dogs....

    I did it.
I present to you... hot dog curry

Fried them in a little mustard oil. Garlic, tomato, ginger, onion in the sofrito. Added turmeric, coriander, and Kashmiri chili powder (similar to paprika, mainly for color). Figured coconut milk would bring it all together nicely.

Served over rice. No real recipe, but it turned out pretty well :)
Hotdog of the year award brother.  Great idea.

I did too before commenting on a hotdog thread and contemplating the value and efficacy of sensitivity training.

Could not agree more.  But to ask if ask is a noun seems highly insensitive. =)

Ask is sometimes used in place of question.   I have an ask for you?
