My Beautiful Wife bought me the 36" Blackstone, this year, back in May, I believe.
I have not opened the box as yet. However, this holiday season, we will have a house full of guests to feed every day, and I plan to pull it out of storage, assemble and use for just about every meal I will not smoke or roast.
Breakfast will be huge for us with this thing, and fried rice will be as well.
Throwing about 262 plates down just for these guests, not counting others for xmas dinners, NYE, etc.
It should establish itself very well, and be worthy for keeping after this holiday season.
    Ron,
youre gonna want one of these!

Thank me later and have a great holiday season. The Blackstone will rock out some grub.

I cut the top off a beer can, stuff a paper towel in it and stick it under the drain. After 2 or 3 cooks I throw it away and make another.
I bet preparing the can for the build is the best part of the construction. Heh?

I really like it when friends come over with high end beer...I save those cans...kinda status symbol for the ole BS.

The blackstone cranks out mass amounts of food as good as anything I’ve ever had. Like working a Waffle House griddle! We went from 5 people to 2.5 in the past year and found that we could do everything we enjoyed on the BS as good or better on a BGE for a smaller crowd. You will absolutely love it to feed a crowd and it’s a fun way to cook too. Happy Holidays my friend. Sounds like you have your hands full. Good thing those hands are up for the job!

my 19 year old who I see about every 3 days and only as a shadow creeping in the night. He eats like a bird anyway and now he's never here to not eat. It's really just 2 of us 90% of the time. Every once in a while I'll see some clothes on the floor and cereal crumbs at the table. It's the only way I know he's still with us :)
