There were people that were cheering on the other side of New Jersey, where you have large Arab populations. They were cheering as the World Trade Center came down.
And you know that's false because ? I live in NJ ,not far from where that happened in Paterson. Know utility workers who saw it first hand . No theory ,actuality. Oh yeah cops had to stop that shop from going and taking care of business. Actuality not a theory.

Sounds totally legit, not made up at all.

@YukonRon I will be in your neck of the woods tomorrow. Going to the Breeders Cup at Church Hill. Never been before so I’m pretty pumped. Might have to watch the Cats vs the Dawgs on my phone.

Would like to post about the single smartest thing I did in 2017.

I took a vacation day, the day of James Comey's testimony to a Congressional panel.  I put away the laptop, the newspaper, any magazine, and listened as carefully as I could, to the whole thing.
As soon as the unclassified portion ended, I set my DVR to record the next hour of Fox News, CBS, and PBS.  I then watched live the next hour of CNN (my DVR only records 3 other shows simultaneously).  After that, watched the 3 recorded newscasts.
My beliefs about my least favorite, and most favorite, news sources were confirmed, in spades.  I was a bit surprised about the other two, for two very different reasons.  I highly recommend everyone here to do the same when a newsworthy event happens, in real time (say, the eventual testimony by Robert Mueller).  Watch it as closely as you can, record as many responses as you can, and then watch them just as carefully.
I hope everyone, everyone, here can do this.  It's important.

Heading to Frankfort to watch our Nieghbor's son on Senior day, his last college football game, then heading back to catch Gary Clark Jr at the Palace Saturday night. Recording both UK/UGA & Bama/LSU.
The Real National Championship will be settled in Atlanta, during The SEC Finals.
Have fun, I like it better than the Derby.

LSU has a chance this weekend.
As good as anybody, better than some. Alabama has not played a very strong defensive team this year. LSU will be that test. Alabama has given up a lot of points to terrible teams.
    They have a chance.
Agree. LSU actually has a very good chance. They are much better than most think. Look what they did to Georgia. Also they have the home field advantage and that’s huge.
Here's my prediction. IF THE SCORE IS CLOSE AT THE HALF, LSU will win.

I think the best two offenses belong to Bama and Georgia, no doubt. I think LSU and Kentucky (at least statistically) have the best defenses. As odd as it may seem, any of the four have a shot at it. Some better than others.
Bottom line, whoever steps up and plays the best defense will win. 5 of the top ten in playoff poll are SEC. I think there may be 2 SEC teams in the final 4. A 2 loss SEC team won the championship before, in 2007, LSU.
They lost to UK in triple overtime in Lexington and lost to Arkansas. (UK not only beat the national champion that year, they also beat the other team that beat LSU that year, Arkansas)
No disrespect to the other teams, but,
Go Cats! This has been fun this season. Long time coming. Long time, indeed.

    Yes.
Wow! I am glad you aren’t here. I don’t know why you think she would make a good governor.
She’s done such a great job managing her own finances, I’m surprised you don’t want her managing the state!

    Excellent point!
It's funny how some rightwingers are taking Abrams to task for her $200K in debt which she has been honest and forthcoming about.
At least she, unlike Kavanaugh, isn't hiding a secret benefactor that paid off all his debts and set him up to buy a 1.2 million dollar house and join a very expensive/exclusive country club on his "meager" judge's salary.
I can just imagine the scripted uproar from Hannity (and then Trump to follow on Twitter a few hours later of course) if somebody like George Soros had kindly paid off her debt. However, if a right wing billionaire (Mercer maybe?) pays off Kavanaughs debts it's "Nothing to see here!".

But your issues should matter, not your party affiliation.
Whatever they say, will they vote in the house on principle or on party lines? Here (UK) it's rare to see an MP break ranks and vote against the party.

It’s not the $200k in debt. It’s the $50k in back taxes she owes.  She still had $50k to loan herself to run for governor.

Avenatti is one of the worst grifters out there. If Dems nominate him to run against Trump in 2020, it will truly be a reflection of the worst of us on both sides.

BTW, what do you mean by “Utard”? I hope that's not a derogatory term used to smear people?  That would be ....... Sad?

I agree, but really don’t think he’s going to get any traction.  Then again, I didn’t think people would be dumb enough to vote for Trump.
