I was scrolling through this thread to tell my son about @caliking’s pakodas, and came across this photo of @bgebrent and @JohnInCarolina cuddling, and I noticed that it appears that Brent had pissed himself. What gives?

As with everything else, he needed Nicole in order to do it right. (Sorry Brent, Happy New Year).

I don't think that's piss, unfortunately for me.
He must’ve been very excited to be sitting on your lap. What did you promise him?

I think the only Buffalo that gets mixed up with Butt Blast is Buffalo Trace.

@YukonRon it will probably start to get sunk right about the time the 2019 thread pops up.

If you are afraid of stray flying fluids of all denominations, you should stray away from the late night festivities at Butt Blast...it's a gas gas gas.

Sure, get some wings drums and flats, coat with Cluck & Squeal all purpose rub, wrap a half strip of thin slice bacon, pin with toothpick, cook indirect at 375-400, when bacon is done so is the wing, I do check temp also. Then coat with Blues Hog Smokey Mountain Sauce or regular Blues Hog sauce. Enjoy

I have to admit that I have tried these wings and they are as good as they sound.  Thanks Kay for your brilliant ideas!

I just use chicken tenders sectioned in two or three pieces, wrap in thick sliced bacon cut in half. Use rub and sauce of your choice. Works very well.

That was probably the best BBlast of them all.  We had near perfect weather and the turnout was incredible.

@tarheelmatt and I talked about holding another Butt Blast, and for a variety of issues (work, family, etc.) I don't think the two of us are planning on organizing another one anytime soon.  That being said, we never felt like we "owned" the Blast or anything like that - it was something that belonged to the Egghead community.  So if you and any of the other folks you spoke to were interested in throwing one together, you have our blessing.  I know @bubbajack has frequently asked about another Blast, so I'm tagging him here too.
