Any chance there will be a deep fryer available?
We can probably arrange for that if you need one.
I’m bringing a 3 burner propane stove similar to this one. Can always just put a pot of oil on it and regulate temperature with the flame:

I made onion pakoras (fritter like thingys, with a chickpea flour batter) at BC3, in a wok on @Thatgrimguy ‘s Camp Chef grill.

Could do it on that kind of setup too if a deep fryer isn’t available. I could probably bring a wok.

You must’ve had too many adult beverages this evening as I was at BCIII and you weren’t. You must’ve meant BCII or BCIV.  =)

I look forward to trying them.

    A very real possibility

Whichever BC it was when we did the lamb on a cinderblock pit. Must have been BC2 then.

BC2 was the homemade pit.  And the band was epic. And we all thought @thatgrimguy had a "partner" who made bread, but that's all it really was.  He had a friend who made the bread.  Good times.

I can as well. Mine has a batch of stale oil from last season still in it. I can drain it and clean it up. Since I don't need to pull the PR-72T for the pig, the least I can do is bring a fryer.

@tarheelmatt I thought the rule of thumb was no starch for Thunder Buddy costumes.

Or was that strip club pants? I always get those confused.

Instead of fighting for grill space or the thought of making something creative, I will just be a professional consumer of all the hard work done by others.
I will do this shamelessly. @northGAcock  bloodies, @nolaegghead crawfish boil @JohnInCarolina pizza and whatever @bgebrenttries to take credit for that Nichole actually makes, as well as anything and everything else that gets made by the pros!
