This deserves it's own thread given the amazing games. I'm a basketball guy but this baseball has been spectacular. What say you.

Fantastic WS so far. Just crazy back and forth swings in momentum and tempo

Game 2 my wife went to bed in the middle of the 7th inning. Tonight she went to bed in the 7th.
If the pattern holds, I'm hoping she'll go to bed about the 7th inning on Tuesday.

These flairs to right that clear the fence and one-handed swings that leave the yard are going to destroy the game, however (if they haven't already). Having said that, great theater.Stillwater, MN

Great game, but what a way to start the work week.

My wife definitely is going to have to go to bed about the 7th inning Tuesday.

Will be quite a game Tuesday. Which way will it go, pitchers or hitters dominant? Given where we are now, no way to predict but the arms have got to be close to tapped out.

I went to bed around one a.m. Just too old and sleepy I suppose. Reading about it the next day is somehow less exciting.

The greatest play was the throw to home from third by the Astros, incredible play by 3rd base and catcher.

I've always thought that was a silly tradition (especially with a home run ball in the World Series) but it turns out she wasn't upset about it - http://www.chron.com/sports/astros/article/Story-behind-man-ripping-World-Series-ball-out-of-12316216.phpJohnInCarolina said:
I'm usually a pretty chill guy but if somebody had grabbed a Puig World Series homer out of my hand to toss it back onto the field we would have next engaged in trial by combat.

There have been many WS that had a lot of back-and-forth and high drama throughout the games. We naturally tend to focus on the current as the " best of all time". This one is great entertainment but here are a few more that are up there: 2011, 2001, 1997, 1991, 1986. I'll stop there. Enjoy it for what it is.

Yep. As a Cubs fan, I think last year's was best. But I grew up in Houston and have family there so I'm in full bandwagon mode.lousubcap said:There have been many WS that had a lot of back-and-forth and high drama throughout the games. I’m biased as a Sox fan, and it wasn’t a WS, but the 2004 ALCS where the Sox came back from being down 3 games to none against the Evil Empire was incredible and will likely never be bested. Just amazing to win four straight games and several in extra innings. Those were some late nights, but worth every moment.
