Thanks to @nolaegghead and his wonderful wife and family for hosting this great event. It was a good thing @bgebrent and I attended or there would not have been any Brisket unless @travisstrick boiled one. It was nice meeting all the new eggheads and seeing old friends. Kit had a great time as well. Looking forward the the next event.
Thank you Jim for donating the SRF gold deliciousness to the party and cooking 'em up.  Was great fun and eats.

Dang- even with all the distractions, I would hate to hose-up a Gold.  With that investment I'm sure there was a decent level of attention paid to the cook.  And the out-come confirmed it was an overwhelming success.
    Most eggcellent gesture and result.
Edit: were any of the Gold consumers aware of the pedigree at the time or was the clarity discovered later??  ;)
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

I knew it was an SRF, but I didn’t know it was a Gold.  I don’t think that was widely known.  I did a Gold one two years ago at Brisket Camp, and it was quite good, but nowhere near as good as this one.  It got a lot of attention from the crew there - they definitely nurtured it.

I believe this was put out towards the end of the day. There were a few dedicated stragglers waiting for brisky, but I think most of those partaking were indoctrinated eggheads, so they kinda knew what was going down . These guys threw down a fine brisky, proven by the fact that it was gone in about as long as it takes to cook a Neapolitan pizza.

Thanks@JRWhitee and @bgebrent for putting the brisket in brisket camp!
Thank you brother.  We're pretty proud of the briskets. Scott helped a bunch.  Highlight for me was your goat cook, slathered in chimi churi and red pepper salsa.  That was the highlight.  And yet, our briskets didn't suck.  Carey provided one of the 2 we ran on Scots Shirley. We'll be be back next year to keep brisket camp honest. ;)

    This eggroll was particularly amazing:

I will post a video of its composition upon the completion of it importing from my Google Photos to Youtube. My memory of this most epic eggroll was revived as I watched said video. Prior to the watching of the video, I did not remember the assembly details of this most epic of all times eggroll.

We did not have focker's favorites (because this ain't Iowa and we're euro-commie-bastards or something):

    Apple pie, crisp.
Chili, chili dogs, chili mac, ghoulash.
    Pot roast, veg.
    Meat loaf.
    Stuffed peppers.
    Chowder is getting egged soon.
    Zagna

    None of that.  Sorry.
