I did some long overdue male adulting last night

SWMBO is with her brother's this week, so I had a couple of the boys over for some seared bovine slices.
Sous vide @ 129F for :90. LBGE @ 550-600F. Also SV'd the corn with plain butter @185F for :30 the night prior, then tossed them into the bath with the steaks @ 129F for :30 to warm up. Maitre de butter was S&P, thyme and some garlic that had been sautee'd in bacon drippings... and of course I included the drippings in the butter! And then it was all tied together with some grape juice.

Did my first sous vide BGE combo the other night with a 16oz ribeye and it turned out a whole lot better than I thought it would.

Silver Oak is the finest wine I have ever had.Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here. Very Extremely Stable Genius.
