How about cheese steaks with peppers and onions on a Haiwian Roll??

Dang guys, the highlight reels are pushing me to reach for the mouse sander, and get after it.
Can't wait to fire up the 28. May do aged cheesesteaks for the Super Bowl.
Lovin' this post.BrandonQuad Cities

Decided to make my first meal on the new Blackstone. Did a quick (and I mean quick) stir fry for the family. Chicken for the boys and shrimp for the Mrs. and I. It was a balmy winter evening but standing at the griddle my sous chef and I were toasty warm.
The LBGE has been cold for a few days but I'm looking forward to some grilled pork chops on it this evening.
Cooked outside Sunday, Monday and will tonight. That's a streak!
I'm a father, husband and a veteran and I love food. Cooking it, thinking about it and eating it.

This dude got me to spring for the BS oven several years ago.
Although I would opt out of backstrap here....with a little tweaking, this looks huhot as Fock.
That 36" surround for $100 is really nice.

I picked up the 17" at Ace for $69, over Christmas. I already want the bigger one. The idea was to take it camping, but this little bugger has been used weekly since we got it. First cook was bacon, onions, cheeseburgers and fried eggs. The grilled onions alone make it worth the purchase. I needed a steaming dome for the burgers, and that came in via UPS today. That should melt the cheese easier. Have also cooked Philly cheesesteak and hash browns, which was the only cook I took a picture of. I LOVE this thing.
@Hntnhrd I'd love to get your carne Asada recipe.

@SaltySam we cheated on this cook and the marinade for the meat was a packet for a slow cooker. I have to get some more as it was the best we have had , it had lime in it. When I get it I will let you know what it was. Meat was thin cut top sirloin.

I've noticed those surrounds for the BS. Would be nice.

I am *this* close to pulling the trigger on one.
I don't have a covered outdoor area. Can these be exposed to the elements year round?

I've read mixed reviews on the covers so for now mine is in the garage with a cheap-o cover just to keep random stuff from settling on the griddle.--Because I'm like ice, buddy. When I don't like you, you've got problems.

Do the same with my oven.
The build quality on these things are not the best. Don't trust them enough to withstand the Illinois elements long term.BrandonQuad Cities
